Nesta to be operated on Tuesday
02/17/09 The surgery took 45 minutes and it went alright. The doctors has asked Nesta to stay rest for 15 days before starting any rehabilitation program. Nesta will leave the clinic tomorrow.
02/17/09 Nesta will undergo surgery this morning. In bocca al lupo, Sandro!
02/16/09 Official announcement from ACMilan.com, finally, says Nesta will go to surgery on Tuesday morning. Doctor Maurizio Fornari, who recommended conservative therapy last summer, feels an operation is necessary to make Nesta be able to sleep without painkiller at night, and to be able to play football again.
According to gazzetta and La Repubblica, Nesta will have surgery on his back on Monday, Feb 16th. The most optimistic scenario is to be able to run without problem in a month and a full recovery in one and half month. If all goes well, he could make the last couple of games of this season.
i remember Ancelotti said last week that Nesta’s condition would be evaluated this week…I don’t know if they are rushing him into surgery or not, i just feel wired…when Nesta was in Lazio, he was operated by two doctors he personally knows, but now…
anyway, isn’t surgery what everyone has been trying to avoid? here it comes. i don’t know what to say.
forza | Feb 15, 22:02 | #the management, the medicine staff and Ance, they are all idiots!
it is the only thing i can say
I don’t quite get it, why it takes only one and half month to recover? what kind of surgery is this one?
gwendlyn | Feb 16, 00:13 | #that’s b/c the club does not make any official announcement, so the press can say whatever they want (we don’t know if the surgery is intended to treat disc problem or hernia), from 6 weeks to career risk, anything.
forza | Feb 16, 01:13 | #here is what mediaset has to say. I am still not sure if the surgery is to treat hernia or not. it seems Nesta suffered a lot of pain during the last couple of days…
forza | Feb 16, 01:17 | #Hey,
I mistrust every Nesta news now. Too much disinfo. In the meanwhile I hate Milan`s management, med staff and the media. This strategy of disinformation is soo unfair. I really feel betrayed….
I only pray for our beloved, cute Nesta, that he is getting well soon! I can imagine how he must feel now…
God bless him and his fans!
